Chester County Settlement at Mediation: $82,500.00

This was a premises liability action in which Plaintiff claimed she slipped and fell as a result of a “sticky substance” on the floor. The claimed injury was a fracture to the left patella. A claim was also being asserted for unpaid medical bills approximating $11,000.00. Defendant claimed is had no actual or constructive notice of any substance on the floor and also asserted Plaintiff did not know definitively what the actual substance was which allegedly caused the fall. There were no witnesses and no photographs of the area at the time of the alleged fall.
