Philadelphia County Settlement at Mediation: $180,000.00

This premises liability action arose as a result of a claimed slip and fall on ice in a common area of a business facility. Plaintiff claimed multiple injuries as well as a severely comminuted fracture of the left patella. Plaintiff also claimed unpaid medical bills of approximately $13,000.00. Defendants claimed, among other things, that Plaintiff was primarily negligent and/or significantly comparatively negligent. Ultimately, the Parties were able to reach an amicable settlement.
