Philadelphia Settlement at Mediation: $200,000.00:
Plaintiff claimed he fell and was injured because ice was permitted to remain on a sidewalk, causing a dangerous condition. As a result, Plaintiff claimed multiple injuries, including a dislocated shoulder and “Hill-Sachs” fracture which required surgery. Liability was disputed and presented a significant obstacle for Plaintiff insofar as establishing “notice” vis a vis the Defendants. Defendants also claimed Plaintiff was comparatively negligent. Fortunately for Plaintiff, surgery was relatively successful, yet Plaintiff claimed significant unpaid medical bills. Coordinating with those entities definitely contributed to the ultimate resolution of this matter. A great job by everyone in brokering an amicable settlement.
