Philadelphia Settlement at Mediation: $65,000.00

I am pleased to have procured a great settlement in a disputed liability case pending in Philadelphia County. The fall was captured on videotape and clearly confirmed Plaintiff’s fall; however, the cause of the fall was not clear. There was no substance visible on the video footage. As to damages, Plaintiff claimed various personal injuries as well as unpaid medical bills. In addition, post-deposition surveillance undercut much of Plaintiff’s claims of how the injuries affected her activities of daily living, raising the very real possibility a jury would not find the majority of her claims credible. A fabulous settlement given the circumstances.
